3" to 4" ground clearance is a must
Before purchasing TOWtector Shield, you must determine the correct length of brush strip. When vehicle is towing (boat, caravan etc) and is on a level surface to the top of the ball mount.

3" to 4" of ground clearance is a must.
All Towtector Shields instal within seconds and include a free wall bracket for easy storage. Towtector allows for easy electrical hookup with providing double the protection with extra thick brush strips. A patented brush strip support bar keeps brush strips in place. Each Towtector is a custom fit to your vehicle (see table below) and spans across the full width of your vehicle virtually stopping all road debris for maximum protection.

Please Note 3" to 4" of ground clearance is a MUST. If brush shield is longer than desired, cut to the desired length with household scissors. Towtector Shield must be stored in a vertical position.

Caution - under bumper rear exhaust will melt brush strips.

78" frame widths are generally for utilities, SUV's and smaller vans.
96" frame widths are suitable for larger motorhomes and caravans
