The Suburban HWS range all have porcelain lined, high tensile steel tanks, which are pressure tested twice assuring tank integrity and life. There are a number of gas and gas-electric models available to suit most hot water requirements while travelling. The automatic models feature direct spark ignition with a remote switch for on/off control from inside the RV. Gas consumption is also kept to a minium making Suburban an economical choice.

All Suburban RV Hot Water Systems have an anode rod which absorbs all the corrosive action of hot water. It is located on the bottom of the hot water system under the main burner. You simply unscrew this to drain the tank of water. If the rod is mostly eaten away, simply replace it with a new one.

When you've been out for the day, take a hot shower, when you get up, wash and shave in hot water. When it's time to do the dishes, you have hot water on top. But the Dometic Truma hot water services are different from other water heaters. They are available as a variant with gas only and with combined gas-electric. Both models feature 12 volt electronic remote ignition on gas and a stainless steel tank.

The Dometic Truma hot water services can be installed under a bunk, bed or in a cupboard and have a balanced flue for gas operation.
